## <center>**✦**</center> # <center>**June Newsletter**</center> Hello! Many things have happened over the month, and most of them were too small to really make into their own posts so a periodic newsletter seems the best way to keep you up to date during my art posts. The newsletters will be available to read both publicly on my Patreon, as well as on my website. ## *<center>What's New?</center>* - [[June Newsletter#*General Updates*|General Updates]] - [[June Newsletter#*Patreon*|Patreon]] - [[June Newsletter#*Commissions & Fiverr*|Commissions & Fiverr]] - [[June Newsletter#*Website*|Website]] - [[June Newsletter#*Misc Projects*|Misc Projects]] ## *<center>General Updates</center>* I have been sick for the past week or so, which is especially bad for me because I don't take my vyvanse when I'm sick, so not only do I feel gross and congested, I'm not really capable of doing much else from laying in bed a little MORE than usual. Good news is that hasn't impacted much, I just feel a little behind on my art and other things but I should be able to catch up pretty easily. Other news is that my D&D campaign has ended </3 While Silver has retired into my folder of past player characters, I think she remains as one of, if not my most favourite character I've made, D&D or otherwise. I'm a bit sad things have ended, but that's how things go, unfortunately. ## *<center>Patreon</center>* Not many changes here! Everything is going well, and have posts queued up for at least a good month or two. I've also gotten back into the groove for _NSFW posts for the large tier, so watch out for that starting back up again this month_! Otherwise, In the middle of making the tutorial that won last month's poll, just been sick lately and so that was delayed a little. ## *<center>Commissions & Fiverr</center>* I have 2 commissions left I have to make final touches/polishes on. I hope to be able to open commissions up again in the very near future, I am just still deciding on some ways to better approach my system, making some last minute tweaks to prices and the T&Cs, and figuring out how to best get a two-person team going. For some extra pocket money though, on top of my website's goal for being a hub of resources, I now have two gigs available on Fiverr, links below and also on my website. >--- > **Art Critique & Feedback** > _[(link here)](https://www.fiverr.com/s/e6x9E7P)_ > > The first gig is a simple feedback opportunity; _you can send in art and receive in depth feedback_ on things you're doing well, and what areas you need improvement on, along with some suggestions for resources to check out. > >--- >--- > **Art Tutoring** > _[(link here)](https://www.fiverr.com/s/386QVVB)_ > > The second gig involves a more tutoring style; you can pay for lessons over video call, where over a set period of time _I work with you through a personalised lesson plan I've made, to help you get a better, more direct approach to improving your art_. I found a lot of resources and tutorials for art, especially beginners, is rather tedious and overwhelming to look for, and so this is providing a more streamlined, tailored experience. > >--- I figured I'd put my job in education to good use, along with my certificate in additional needs education support, so both gigs (and especially the course) is _excellent if you have ADHD, ASD, anxiety, or other additional needs that make regular courses difficult to follow through on._ **If you are a Patreon member of any paid tier, you are eligble for a discount to either gig!** - _If you message me on Fiverr_, send me your proof of pledge (can be a screenshot of an email confirmation or that month's subscription fee, or your Patreon username for me to look up) - _If you message me on Patreon_, send me your proof of order (can be a screenshot of the order confirmation email, the order confirmation on Fiverr, or the username you used to order) - _If you email me or message me on anywhere else_, both of the above will be required ## *<center>Website</center>* If you haven't noticed yet, I've got my own website now for everything related to me and my art. This website was made not too long ago, but I haven't done an excellent job of announcing it anywhere. I plan to utilise my website a lot more, with it _currently being a host for tutorials, answers to questions, external resources to help improve your art, and (most requested) where I host and showcase all the brushes I use_; both past and present. My goal with my website is to make it both a hub of information for my characters and stories, as well as a good hub for resources for artists. I found very quickly a get a lot of questions about what brushes I use, and I since I switch between and try out different brushes very frequently, I find I can easily forget and lose the names and info of the brushes very quickly. So, this is like an archive of brushes, which so far I've been pretty good at keeping up to date. On the note of tutorials/questions etc, there is not much available at the moments, but as time progresses, and _as more people come to me with suggestions and questions, I will expand my library of resources._ ## *<center>Misc Projects</center>* >--- > **Creative Writing** > > If you haven't noticed, I posted my first creative writing piece, which I intend to make available to the public rather soon, on top of one or two other pieces, just to pad out my website with something instead of just having it empty for another while. After that, though, _creative writing pieces, once posted to Patreon, will become public in about a month or so._ > >--- >--- > **Comics** > > In the near future, _I plan to host my comics on my website._ > > I think often about getting back into comic making, but just haven't really had the time or energy to commit to any big, long running piece. > > I've had the urge to make anyway, and with the recent end of my D&D campaign, I have a Silver scratch to itch, so I might make a few one off comics for her. > >--- >--- > **Obsidian** > > Not to long ago in a previous post, I mentioned providing a template obsidian vault that I use to plan my D&D campaign. > > This is still going to happen! I just got really caught up with it and now it's turning more into a custom theme with custom callouts for a much more streamlined (and frankly cooler looking) version of the original template. > > I plan to work on this for a bit more, with maybe some occasional updates here and there if people are interested. _On top of that, I plan to make a section on my website that details the functionalities of the vault, along with how to use these new custom callouts, and showcasing some of the funk and fun optional CSS snippets!_ > >--- >--- > **Discord** > > If you remember a while ago, I made a post announcing a Discord server in the works. This is still a thing! > > Currently doing some last minute setting up, along with me wanting to include a space now for Obsidian/vault related questions from above. _The discord will be open and available to the public on the 22th of June!_ > >--- >--- > **Artfight** > > Feeling much better this year compared to last year (on prescription stimulants now), so I am in the middle of updating some character refs in preparation to join this year! > >--- That concludes June's newsletter!
